Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has gained a following on television. In the year 1976 De La Garza was born with a Mexican-American dad and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing her dream of becoming physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last all that long in Texas and then relocated back to Orlando Florida where she experienced various acting roles that included local independent films and global commercials. Even though she was only able to fill small part-time roles, she quickly realized her love for acting. In 2001, she emigrated in New York where her first role was on All My Children's soap opera as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small appearances in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. The year 2004 saw her landing her first major series role on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as some of the top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi as well as Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. She then joined the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she won a Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a part in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Delko's wife and the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are of Italian origin and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was an exceptionally religious and conservative family. Milano was first introduced to acting at age seven old. The babysitter took her to a talent show. From more than 1,000 candidates they were selected as one of just four. Milano performed in television advertisements as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical performance to Jane Eyre.
